OUR Trainers and Expertise
Move Strong was born after nearly 20 years in the health and fitness industry.
Martin, Owner and Head coach, has spent the last 2 decades coaching clients, and growing his sports injury clinic, and more latterly teaching the next generation of PT's and Sports Massage Therapists.
Move Strong is underpinned by three key principles: Move better, become stronger, and be part of a fitness community. We understand that our members want a safe, social environment where they can receive expert advice and guidance.

Having worked in the health and fitness industry for the last 15 years I am excited for this next part of my journey with Move Strong in North Tyneside.
Having lived in North Tyneside all my life I was wanting to create a small, friendly, personal training facility that offers members the opportunity to enjoy personal training in a small group environment.

I am a big fan of the outdoors and keeping active. You will often see me paddle boarding around Whitley bay and Tynemouth or out running along the beach.
I am also a cold water enthusiast so often taking recovery dips in the sea.

You will find me at the facility most days of the week either coaching in the gym, fixing bodies in the sports injury clinic or teaching students bespoke fitness qualifications.

Jenn Howell

Jenn is our newest addition to the team for 2023 and brings a wealth of experience and energy to the gym.
She has been a PT and class instructor for the past 4 years and is currently working through a bikini bodybuilding program and hopes to compete within the next few years.

In her spare time Jenn like to be hiking outdoors, walking with her two dogs, and doing DIY.

Stephen WATSON

Stephen is the newest addition to our coaching team.
As an Exercise Specialist with the NHS he comes to us with a wealth of experience in strength and conditioning, weight management, and movement mechanics.
He has a degree in sports science and has worked in health and fitness for many years now.

Stephen will be coaching Monday morning classes and some Sunday sessions with Jenn.

Outside of the gym he enjoys watching football especially Newcastle United.
